Wuxing Pikemen are a silver era polearm melee infantry unit.

In-Game Description

Sometimes known as the "Fire Pike Militia" but more commonly known as the Wuxing Pikemen, this close assault unit carries the fire pike, a variant on the classic cavalry fire lance. This weapon is designed to cause maximum distress to the enemy at point-blank range, being a cluster of short gun barrels attached to the head of an infantry pike. It can be loaded with shot and fragments to cause a shotgun-like blast, or with an incendiary cartridge that will cause a gout of fire to envelope the enemy like a flamethrower. Wuxing refers to the "five elements" of classical philosophy: wood, metal, and fire for the unit's weapons, earth and water for the mud beneath their relentless marches.

Acquisition

Wuxing Pikemen can be acquired from the Season XV: Eternal seasonal challenges. As they are the season's silver era unit, no other units need to be unlocked before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges.
