Conqueror's Blade Wiki

Shenji Grenadiers are a golden era arquebusier ranged infantry unit.

In-Game Description[]

The Shenji Grenadiers are identifiable by their belts of iron grenades. They are armed with expertly crafted flintlock muskets that employ cartridges, a recent innovation. In battle they are a heavy-hitting assault and close-support unit, capable of disrupting enemy formations with a volley of grenades followed by a volley of musketry, or can hold a fortified position as long as their ammunition lasts. The regiment was once dedicated to defending the capital of Hao Jing, but was recently sent as part of the Eastern Empire's expeditionary force into the Borderlands to fight the Tyrant.

Acquisition[]

Shenji Grenadiers can be unlocked via the Season IX: Tyranny seasonal challenges. As the season's golden era unit, Shenji Grenadiers require the Axe Raiders to be unlocked (i.e. 3rd stage of the Axe Raiders seasonal challenges completed) before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges. Alternatively, Shenji Grenadiers can be unlocked from the Ranged Infantry unit tree, where their node costs 25000 honour to unlock after prerequisites.

Unit Traits[]

Trait In-Game Description
▲ [Precise Aim] This unit's guns are made by the finest blacksmiths, giving them superb accuracy.
▲ [Exquisite Armaments] This unit has firearms and grenades, an unmatched combination for maximum firepower.
▲ [Fire-Resistant] This unit's armour is less vulnerable to thermal weapons than other units of the same era.
▼ [Combat Penalty vs Heroes] Ranged damage dealt to heroes by this unit reduced by 25%.

The unit forms three ranks. Good for concentrating fire.

Unit Orders[]

Attack Area

Cooldown: 3s

basic
basic

Orders the unit to fire a salvo on the designated area. Afterward, they will attack enemies in the area at will.

Throw Grenades

Cooldown: 37s

basic
basic

The unit throws grenades at the targeted area, dealing area-of-effect damage and knocking down enemy soldiers. For 10 seconds after using this order, the unit's shooting speed and accuracy is increased, and the unit will lay down suppressive fire on the targeted area. Using any other unit order during this period will cancel this effect.

Grenade ammunition is counted separately from musket ammunition.
