Schutzdieners are a silver era archer ranged infantry unit.

In-Game Description

Knightly orders need infantry to support their heavy cavalry, and the Order of the Sword are no different in this regard. Schutzdieners - "protection servants" - are men of low birth drafted from the Order's lands and armed with bows and simple hand weapons. What makes them unique is the power granted to them: not only can they shoot conventional arrows, they can also fire a non-lethal projectile which actually heals the target. The secret of this is a closely-guarded secret, one of many with which the Order has built and maintained its power. To the uninitiated, the sight of Schutzdieners healing their comrades by shooting "blessed arrows" at them is bewildering, but none can doubt its efficacy.

Acquisition

Schutzdieners can be acquired from the Season XVII: Knightfall seasonal challenges. As they are the season's silver era unit, no other units need to be unlocked before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges.
