Orochi Samurai are a golden era polearm melee infantry unit.

In-Game Description[]

The Orochi Samurai are among the finest heavy infantry in the world, commonly serving as bodyguards for generals. Their use of the spear is almost unparalleled, specialising in techniques to neutralise opponents while hardly seeming to take a scratch in return.

Acquisition[]

Orochi Samurai can be unlocked via the Season XVI: Sengoku seasonal challenges. As the season's golden era unit, Orochi Samurai require the Onna-musha to be unlocked (i.e. 3rd stage of the Onna-musha seasonal challenges completed) before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges.

Unit Traits[]

Trait In-Game Description
▲ [Disrupting Strike] Enemies will be disrupted when hit by any attack from this unit. For 0.5 seconds, they will be unable to use normal melee attacks and skill attacks (does not affect charges or movement).
▲ [Parry] Parries can be used in the interval between attacks. Every successful parry will strengthen the next attack. The more parries the unit performs, the more their attacks will be strengthened.
▲ [Swamp] Increases damage dealt to cavalry by 26%, and reduces an attacked cavalry unit's movement speed by 60% for 2 seconds.
▲ [Fire-Resistant] This unit's armour is less vulnerable to thermal weapons than other units of the same era.
