Myrmillones are a heroic era tower shield melee infantry unit.

Myrmillones are large, powerfully built fighters who have survived enough bouts in the colosseum to affect a certain amount of swagger. They have gone beyond any natural reluctance to fight for the entertainment of the crowds, realising that one way to survive is to perform towards the audience's expectations of heroes and villains. Accordingly these men adopt larger-than-life personas, full of bluster and braggadocio. Their heavy shields and swords recall the weaponry of the old imperial legions that conquered the world in antiquity, fitting perfectly with the Emperor's latest obsession that has resurrected gladiatorial combat in the heart of Reginopolis.
Acquisition[ | ]
Myrmillones can be unlocked via the Season XIII: Colosseum seasonal challenges. As the season's heroic era unit, Myrmillones require the Dimachaeri to be unlocked (i.e. stage 2 of the Dimachaeri seasonal challenges completed) before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges.
