Martellatori are a rustic era buckler shield melee infantry unit.
In-Game Description[]
The Martellatori ('hammerers') are a militia company from Sicania with roots in the building trade. They are useful mainly for pushing siege engines, during which they take less damage than other troops. Their combat potential is minimal, although the blunt tools they carry have some effect against plate armour.
Acquisition[]
Martellatori are mercenaries and can be bought from the mercenaries tab using either 700,000 silver or 4,900 sovereigns.
