Liao's Rangers are a golden era special cavalry unit.

In-Game Description

Liao's Rangers are an elite fire lancer cavalry battalion who were serving as part of a reconnaissance column in the Borderlands, hunting out bandits. Having spent several weeks mapping the Northern Great Range, the harsh winter arrived early and with greater severity than could have been predicted. Liao's troops were driven westwards by the weather, through the mountain pass they had long sought and into Ostaria. There they managed to maintain their existence as a coherent unit by fighting their way south into Ungverija, where they wait to find a new leader who can lead them to glory on the frozen fields of Ostaria.

Acquisition

Liao's Rangers can be unlocked via the Season VI: Scourge of Winter seasonal challenges. As the season's golden era unit, Liao's Rangers require the Armiger Lancers to be unlocked (i.e. 3rd stage of the Armiger Lancers seasonal challenges completed) before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges.

▲ [Ranged Resistant]	This unit's armour is highly resistant to bullets and other ranged weapons.
▲ [Drains]	Each time the fire lance hits the target, the unit will restore 500 health. After restoring 2500 health, it will gain a [Drains] buff lasting for 3 seconds when they will knock down the enemies via all of their attacks and gain a 10% movement speed bonus and 20% damage reduction.
▲ [Fire-Resistant]	This unit's armour is less vulnerable to thermal weapons than other units of the same era.

The fire lances are fired straight ahead in three volleys. The shots cover a large area but are relatively low in damage and accuracy. Suitable against cavalry.
