Levy Bowmen are a Feudal era archer ranged infantry unit.
In-Game Description[]
The "shire levy" is a system of conscription used to raise armies quickly. All freemen are obliged to possess and bear arms in the service of the king. The poorest are expected to own a polearm and a knife, those with little land to their name are obliged to own a bow and be proficient in its use. Levy Bowmen are superior to Archer Militiamen, if somewhat more expensive to maintain.
Acquisition[]
Levy Bowmen are acquired from the Ranged Infantry unit tree, where they cost 500 honour. This cost can be partially or fully defrayed using up to 20x Levy Bowman's Signaculum.
