Javelin Sergeants are a heroic era javelin melee infantry unit.

In-Game Description

While the javelin or war dart is easily outranged by the cheapest bow or gun, it is an easy way to give a lord's retainers an edge against heavily armoured opponents such as knights fighting on foot. Javelineer Sergeants are better-trained (and better equipped) infantry with superior close combat abilities.

Acquisition

Javelin Sergeants can be unlocked from the Melee Infantry unit tree, where their node costs 15000 honour to unlock after prerequisites. Alternatively they can be unlocked using 20x Javelin Sergeants Signaculum, but the relative rarity of signacula makes this option much less available.
