Crescent Monks are a heroic era special melee infantry unit.
In-Game Description[]
The Crescent Monks are a fellowship of lay brothers who model their lives on that of the legendary hero Lu Zhishen, who became a monk in order to lay low after accidentally killing a small-time hustler in a dispute over an onerous debt. These monastic brothers each carry a fearsome polearm known as a Monk's Spade, which is capable of both digging a grave and making something to bury in it. Crescent Monks are usually the most boisterous, drunken members of their communities, frequently sent by their abbots out of their monasteries to patrol the lonely paths of mountainous wildernesses, making sure any bodies they find receive a proper burial.
Acquisition[]
Crescent Monks can be unlocked via the Season XV: Eternal seasonal challenges. As the season's heroic era unit, Crescent Monks require the Wuxing Pikemen to be unlocked (i.e. stage 2 of the Wuxing Pikemen seasonal challenges completed) before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges.
