The Cannon is an artillery piece.

Overview[ | ]

The Cannon is a long ranged generalist artillery piece which fires a single exploding cannonball per activation. It is used to destroy siege engines, kill units, and engage in counterbattery fire against enemy artillery pieces. Although it performs well in the aforementioned purposes, it is outshone in specific roles by other artillery pieces, has low performance against enemy heroes due to its lower single target damage, and is capable of friendly firing. Cannons are a commonly available artillery piece in matched siege battles.
