Berserkers are a heroic era special melee infantry unit.
In-Game Description[ | ]
Berserkers are fearsome warriors, noteworthy for entering into trances before battle by consuming particular plants unique to their land. When the fighting begins they are almost suicidally brave, each man striving to outdo his comrade in ever more desperate displays of courage. Berserkers carry two axes, eschewing shields as being unworthy of a warrior who seeks to live forever in Valhalla.
Acquisition[ | ]
Berserkers can be unlocked via the Season VII: Wolves of Ragnarok seasonal challenges. As the season's heroic era unit, Berserkers require the Sons of Fenrir to be unlocked (i.e. stage 2 of the Sons of Fenrir seasonal challenges completed) before progress can be made on their seasonal challenges.
Unit Traits[ | ]
Trait | In-Game Description |
---|---|
▲ [Rage] | This unit builds up Rage by fighting, which then powers its other skills. |
▲ [Frenzy] | Berserkers can go into a frenzied state if they are in combat long enough. This greatly enhances their attributes, but renders them uncontrollable. |
▲ [Battle Madness] | Each time the Berserkers launch an attack, their slashing damage is increased by 20 points and their damage resistance is increased by 6%. This effect lasts 4.5 seconds and can stack up to 10 times. Upon reaching a stack of 10, the Berserkers recover health. |
▼ [Combat Penalty vs Heroes] | Damage dealt to heroes by this unit while berserk reduced by 30%. |
Formations[ | ]
Formation | In-Game Description |

Dispersed |
The unit stands in a loose formation to lessen the impact of enemy ranged attacks. |
